## The MPB Events Approach MPB Events is an independent event management, production and branding consultancy. We work with organisations that need experienced, professional event support — without the overhead, markup, and conflict of interest that comes with a traditional agency. We are not an agency. We do not employ large teams of junior staff. We are a network of senior, specialist practitioners — production managers, site managers, safety managers, project managers, and creative directors — brought together around each project in the combination that fits the brief. That model delivers something most agencies cannot: **genuine expertise at every level of delivery**, with no junior staff learning on your budget. --- ## Experience and Qualifications The MPB Events team has decades of combined experience across the live events industry. Our practitioners have worked on events ranging from 50-person boardroom conferences to 50,000-person outdoor festivals — across corporate, public, music, sport, and private sectors. Specific qualifications and experience include: - **NEBOSH-qualified** safety management — our safety managers hold formal, independently assessed qualifications in occupational health and safety, providing clients with defensible documentation and credible liaison with local authority Safety Advisory Groups (SAGs) - **Production management** across AV, staging, lighting, sound, and technical infrastructure — independent of any supplier, working in clients' best interests - **Site management** for outdoor events, festivals, and large-scale activations — from greenfield site surveys through to post-event reinstatement - **Project management** across the full event lifecycle — from initial brief and budget to post-event evaluation --- ## How We Work We are engaged by clients in a number of ways: **As a complete management team** — taking responsibility for all aspects of event management, production, site, and safety, with a named senior lead for each discipline. **As a specialist resource** — filling a specific gap in a client's existing team. If you have an in-house event manager but need a production manager, a site manager, or a NEBOSH-qualified safety manager for a specific project, we provide that resource without requiring you to engage us across the board. **As a consultant** — advising on production, site, or safety strategy at the planning stage, reviewing existing plans, or providing an independent second opinion on supplier proposals. --- ## Worldwide Delivery We are based in Warrington, UK, but regularly work internationally. Our team has delivered events across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and further afield. Working internationally requires additional planning — we understand local regulatory environments, can identify and brief local contractors, and have experience navigating the logistical complexity that comes with delivering events in overseas markets. We treat international events with the same rigour and attention to detail as those on our doorstep. --- ## Independence as a Value Our independence from suppliers is not just a selling point — it is a fundamental part of how we operate. We have no preferred supplier arrangements, no retainers with AV companies or staging contractors, and no financial incentive to use one supplier over another. When we recommend a supplier or a production approach, that recommendation is made on merit — on what we believe will deliver the best outcome for the client's event and budget. That is the only basis on which we operate. --- ## Get in Touch We do not charge for initial conversations. If you have an event on the horizon and want to talk through your requirements — whether you have a fully formed brief or just the seed of an idea — we are happy to listen and offer our honest assessment of how we might help.
