Event Production Management
We manage the production process, not the kit — giving you an objective, supplier-independent approach to technical event management.
What is Event Production Management?
Event production management is the coordination and oversight of all technical and logistical elements required to bring an event to life. It sits between the client's vision and the suppliers who deliver it — ensuring that AV, staging, lighting, sound, power, and all technical infrastructure arrive on time, are installed correctly, perform as required, and are removed efficiently after the event.
A production manager is the person who holds the technical plan in their head and on paper simultaneously — who knows that the lighting rig needs to be flown before the stage deck goes in, that the generator needs to be positioned before the cable runs, and that the crew call needs to allow for a venue access restriction at 0700.
We offer production management as a standalone service or as part of a wider management package. We work worldwide — delivering production management for events across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and beyond.
What Does a Production Manager Do?
Our production managers take responsibility for:
- Technical planning — developing the production schedule, technical rider, and supplier brief from initial concept
- Supplier management — working with your existing AV and staging suppliers, or sourcing and tendering to new contractors on your behalf
- Budget oversight — managing production costs against budget, with transparent reporting throughout
- Site coordination — integrating the technical build with site management, safety, and operational timelines
- Crew management — briefing, scheduling, and supervising all technical crew on-site
- Show calling — running the technical show from a prompt script or cue sheet on event day
- Derig and reinstatement — managing the efficient, safe removal of all technical elements post-event
Why Independent Production Management?
Most production companies manage their own suppliers. That creates a conflict of interest when things don't go to plan. As an independent production management service, we have no financial relationship with any AV, staging, or technical supplier. We work exclusively for the client. That means:
- We can work with your preferred suppliers without compromise
- We can competitively tender technical packages to get best value
- We give you an honest assessment of what your budget will realistically deliver
- If something goes wrong on-site, we represent your interests, not a supplier's
Events We Support

Worldwide Delivery
We are based in the UK but regularly deliver production management internationally. We are experienced in working with local suppliers in overseas markets, navigating different technical standards (power frequencies, AV formats, rigging regulations), and building production teams in locations where we don't have existing supplier relationships.
Whether your event is in London, Dubai, New York, or anywhere else in the world — we can manage the production.
